To our valued clients:
We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy facility for you and your pets, as well as for our employees. We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID 19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and the CDC’s guidelines and recommendations.
UPDATE: FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE
We are now allowing people into our lobby but still not allowing clients into exam rooms. Pet parents will wait in the lobby while the staff examines the patient. The doctor will come and talk to you after exam is finished.
While the CDC and other health authorities have indicated that dogs, cats and other domestic animals are not considered at risk for contracting COVID 19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of our human clients and staff. We will augment our existing “hospital-clean” practices by sanitizing counters, door knobs, railings, chair handles, and credit card terminals with increased frequency. Our staff is increasing its hand washing diligence between every patient visit.
Our staff is encouraged to stay home and seek medical advice if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID 19. If you are ill and your pet requires urgent care, please arrange for someone else to transport your pet to the hospital.
For more information and health guidance regarding COVID 19, please visit the CDC (Center for Disease Control) or the WHO (World Health Organization) websites.
As always, feel free to call us (913-432- 2050) if you have further questions. Thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation during this uncertain time.
We look forward to seeing you and your pet soon!
